AHEAD is committed to getting to its members and the community useful health information. At present, AHEAD is involved in a national campaign to let senior know about the recent changes in Medicare.

AHEAD is meeting with pastors in Charlotte, Oakland, Baltimore, Cleveland, Detroit and St. Louis to educate them about the $600 that Medicare has made available to seniors to pay for their prescription drugs. The pastors will then in turn pass this information along to the seniors in their congregations.
